Our final competition of 2024 ✅

@katherinebuckley888 started off the day, making 4/6 lifts and finishing on 33kg in the snatch and 45kg on clean and jerk, securing herself a bronze medal.

@oneandonlyd89 snatched a PB of 48kg before then making 65kg in the clean and jerk in his first BWL competition.

@lj_weightlifting finished off the day in the final group with a 80kg snatch and 98kg clean and jerk, leaving with a silver medal.

Here are all the men’s lifts from our competition at the weekend!

@matthew_quinney took a well earned victory on Sinclair with a PB snatch, whilst @finleyrich took second place with the two biggest lifts on the day. @jakob.morris97 finished a well deserved 3rd in his first ever competition. @lj_weightlifting and @huptan both put in personal best performances in the clean and jerk, whilst @oneandonlyd89 went 6/6 in his first ever comp, and @smiddzy1 competed in his first ever competition despite missing two weeks of training with a pulled muscle in his ribs.

Well done to everyone who competed! 💪🏋🏻‍♂️
